Nestled in the beautiful Vienne region with it’s stunning countryside and famous sunny climate, a stay with us will ensure you can enjoy the perfect combination of new experiences, fun and relaxation.
We have two stone built former farm cottages set within large beautiful gardens with a 6x4.5m swimming pool. Each of the two gites have been tastefully decorated whilst containing many original features such as exposed beams, oak floor boards and oak staircases. Each cottage has a private covered patio/bbq area. There is an extensive back garden with a large level lawn that is ideal for playing games such as football and badminton. All games equipment is available in the family games room, which also contains a pool table, table football and table tennis along with books, board games and videos. The end of the garden is an area set aside as a wild flower meadow that attracts many beautiful butterflies in the spring and summer. All within a few minutes drive to the market towns of Civray and Ruffec, halfway between the regional towns of Poitiers and Angouleme (both towns now have an airport with flights to the UK making reaching us extremely easy)
The region holds a wealth of potential for outdoor activities, especially suited to the beginner or family groups. Through our own personal interests in outdoor pursuits we can offer advice on the local activity centres and instructors so you can make the most out of your exciting holiday in the Poitou-Charentes.
